Editions
Which Ocarina of Time edition exists?
Two game editions are on Nintendo’s store: standard digital and standard physical. A deluxe edition, a collector’s edition of the game, a steelbook, and a paid early unlock are not listed. The 40th anniversary Switch 2 console is real hardware and it does not include the game.

Hardware that is easy to mix up with the game
The 40th anniversary Switch 2 console went on sale October 29, 2026 at $519.99 in the US and £434.99 in the UK. Nintendo’s console page says the game is not included. The matching Pro Controller is separate hardware; US coverage put it at $99.99 and the Japan page lists ¥12,980 with a stand. The carrying case is ¥3,980 in Japan. I am leaving the US and UK case prices blank because I do not have two matching readings.
Why search still asks for a special edition
The 2003 GameCube Collector’s Edition was a real disc, and the 1998 gold cartridge was a real preorder item. Those names still rank. They are not 2026 SKUs. The 1998 page keeps that history. For the 2026 game, the store page is the list.
Prices and the wallpaper cutoff live on the preorder page. Platform limits are on the Switch 2 page.
