Ocarina of Time on Switch 2
The 2026 game is a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive. Nintendo’s store page does not list a Switch 1, PC, PlayStation 5, or Xbox version. Switch 1 owners can still play the 1998 original through Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. That is a different product.

File size, four readings
The US store says 27 GB (estimated). The Spanish store says 24.5 GB. ScreenRant and a preload report put the download at 24.54 GB around October 26–28, 2026. Nintendo of Japan has warned that installation may need more than, or at least, 27 GB. Those are an estimate, a regional listing, a download, and an install warning. I am not averaging them.

Frame rate and resolution
Wccftech and a Notebookcheck roundup of hands-on previews describe 60 frames per second, and the roundup also passes along a 1080p description. Nintendo’s own store page does not list a frame rate or a resolution. I keep 60 fps and 1080p in the reported column.
Languages on the US listing
Nintendo US lists Japanese, British English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Dutch, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Latin American Spanish, Canadian French, Brazilian Portuguese, Traditional Chinese, American English and Polish. This is one official regional listing. The European page groups the supported languages into 12 entries; the counts should not be treated as a promise of 16 separate voice tracks.
What Switch 1 can do
Switch 1 does not get this remake. It can run the 1998 game from the N64 Nintendo Classics library with an Expansion Pack membership. The steps and the membership prices are on Switch Online. What changed in the remake is on differences.
