How the regions are chosen
The menu starts from the timezone reported by the browser and maps it to the nearest row: US, UK, Central Europe, Japan, Sydney, or Auckland. Changing the menu recalculates the remaining time. A shared link can pin a region with ?region=us, ?region=uk, ?region=eu, ?region=jp, ?region=au, or ?region=nz.
What happens at zero
When the selected target passes, the clock reports that the expected regional unlock time has been reached. Check Nintendo’s local eShop for availability. Digital availability still follows the eShop country on the account. Physical copies follow the shop’s own opening, including the Nintendo New York midnight window. The day is confirmed, the hour is expected
I point the clock at the hours in the release time table, which come from VICE and GameRant describing Nintendo’s usual pattern. The release date page is the place for the confirmed calendar day. US list prices, for context while you wait, are on the preorder page.
Questions
How many days until Ocarina of Time?
The counter uses your selected region. From November 3, 2026 the US target is the evening of November 4 Pacific, and other regions use local midnight on November 5.
Why does the number change when I switch region?
Each region has its own expected instant. The US instant is 05:00 UTC on November 5. UK midnight is 00:00 UTC the same day. Japan midnight is 15:00 UTC on November 4.
