Stock is not one number
Digital copies are not a finite shelf. Physical stock moves by retailer. Notebookcheck reported the Amazon US foil-cover listing as sold out, and that is one outlet. Best Buy midnight openings are also reported for at least one store, with stock that has flipped more than once. I am not publishing a live inventory ticker. The preorder page has the list prices and the bonus rules. The release time page has the expected hours.
Switch 1
The 2026 game is not announced for Switch 1. Switch 1 can play the 1998 original through Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. That path is on the Nintendo Classics page.
