What is public before release day
October 14, 2026 is when the overview trailer and press previews landed. Nintendo Life’s preview describes Castle Town, Threads of Time, and the fairy hints. Notebookcheck collected several of those hands-on pieces, including the 60 fps description. A preview is not a review. I quote the existence of those pieces and I do not paste their prose.
Older scores, for orientation only
The 1998 game’s Metacritic score of 99 and the 3DS score of 94 describe those editions. They are not a forecast. The GameCube Ocarina of Time / Master Quest disc sits at 91 on the same historical record. Using 99 as a promise for 2026 would be a different claim, and I do not make it.
